Video Shoot Extras

Last night my daughter informed me of a local band (Psychopathic Daze) having a video shoot in Elgin. They needed extras for zombie scenes. It sounded like fun and they didnt have a ride so I took them and hung out. Everyone was nice, as most metal guys are despite the images people fear. The girls had fun getting covered in blood and being directed to climb and attack the helpless victim in the video as the band played. It was loud but not as loud as Black Label Society at the House of Blues. That had my ears ringing for 2 days. Zakk is f#*king loud and a monster on stage. I still have that set list from the first cd.

Anyway I was happy to see my kid experience the creative side of life. I know she has it in her and will end up doing something creative and not corporate. I will stick to that and pay the bills. It does suck though. :D  Rock on!!

Soul Motion Postcard

The guys from Soul Motion asked for a postcard they could hand out for gigs. Sticking to the theme I used one of the old pics I really liked and played with some of the text they gave me.

I recently completed a new website for the band Soul Motion. It came out pretty good in my opinion. I used a lot of old archive photos from the library of congress and manipulated them in photoshop.
