Sharepoint crashing IE7 while opening Word Excel

1. Do a search for “owssupp.dll”.  There should be more than one instance of it on the C:

2. Delete all instances of this file from the hard drive (You will need administrator rights)

3. Go to Control Panel> Internet Options > Advanced (tab) > Reset Internet Explorer settings (click reset)
